El director del Instituto Guatemalteco de Turismo\u00a0 (INGUAT), <strong>Pedro Duchez<\/strong>, se\u00f1al\u00f3 en un comunicado que los ingresos en los primeros 10 meses de 2014 alcanzaron US$1,243 millones, un 5.20% m\u00e1s que en el mismo periodo de 2013. En tanto, el n\u00famero de visitantes extranjeros en los primeros 10 meses del a\u00f1o sum\u00f3 1,708,752 turistas, lo cual representa un alza aproximada del 7.0% con respecto al mismo periodo del a\u00f1o pasado, cuando se registr\u00f3 el ingreso de 1,598,637 visitantes, coment\u00f3 el funcionario.
