Fernando Suriano, director ejecutivo del Programa Nacional de Competitividad, manifest\u00f3 que esa entidad ha preparado un plan de trabajo e iniciado su ejecuci\u00f3n para escalar posiciones en los 10 indicadores que mide el BM; adem\u00e1s ha conformado 10 grupos t\u00e9cnicos de trabajo con las instituciones vinculadas en cada tema. En la edici\u00f3n de 2017 del <em>Doing Business<\/em>, Guatemala ocup\u00f3 el lugar 88, de 190 econom\u00edas.
