El Acuerdo fue entregado en un acto oficial por el canciller, <strong>Hugo Mart\u00ednez<\/strong>, al presidente del Congreso, <strong>Sigfrido Reyes<\/strong>. De acuerdo con <strong>Mart\u00ednez<\/strong>, el acuerdo con la UE permitir\u00e1 \u201cla movilidad de mercanc\u00edas\u201d entre ambas regiones, lo cual generar\u00e1\u201c un mayor dinamismo en el comercio y la inversi\u00f3n\u201d. El gobierno salvadore\u00f1o conf\u00eda en que este instrumento permitir\u00e1 al pa\u00eds incrementar las exportaciones a la Uni\u00f3n Europea, que superan los US$300 millones anuales.
